Testimonies from saints meeting with church in Dunedin

I was captured by the sweet church life. There were many companions around me. We would go to classes together, go to meetings and out blending. The Lord gave me a new heart to love Him and He renewed my mind through His word and the ministry. This is all because of His mercy, that He would reveal Himself to me though the members of the His body.

I enjoy the different portions of the Lord in all the saints. We have saints from different ages and backgrounds, yet all supplying each other. The church life is a family, a school and a hospital. This has proven to be true in Dunedin. And this is only possible through us diving into the ministry.

Praise the Lord for bringing us into His recovery. May the Lord preserve us that we can be constituted with the New Testament ministry. This is for us to be the overcomers to build the Body. The church in Dunedin is a member of the Body. We need the Lord to grow in us so that we can be a part of the corporate Bride, to bring the Lord back. (Melody)

My enjoyment of the Lord in the church in Dunedin is being in the spirit and having the presence of the Lord since the time of my baptism.

I was not a Christian nor my family until two classmates preached to me. We enjoyed the Lord by reading some verses and spiritual booklets whenever we had some time off school. I enjoyed believing into the Lord more and more during the church life and then it became more and more clear to me that this is where I find rest and comfort and I long to enjoy the Lord together with the saints. Not long after this I got baptized on the 10th November 2004.

It was really a highlight of my Christian life because it brought me into the kingdom of God, and delivered me out of the world. I was regenerated to become a new creation.
Praise the Lord (Fred)

Before I "migrated" to Dunedin, the term "church life" was just a useful jargon in the church: A phrase that I can drop in every now and then in my prayer, or when I am fellowshipping with the saints. But praise the Lord for having mercy on me. During the time in Dunedin, the Lord has really shown me the vision of the Body of Christ, and to have a genuine "church life". Not a church meeting life but the church life. No more, do I just see the saints when I go to meetings, neither do I only do "holy" activities with the saints. Rather, I see saints all the time, (thank the Lord for the centrality of the sisters' house) even just for a brief moment, or only a hand wave through the window, I can sense the spirit blending us together. I particularly enjoyed the times when we have the saints over for meals. Those were the times you really get to cherish the humanity side of the church life. (Peggy)

I'm really thankful to the Lord because He has shown mercy upon me that today I can enjoy and pursue after Him. Nothing of this earth is worthy of our pursuit as all these only last a while. Our eyes should turn unto Jesus as this will remain unto eternity. How wonderful, I've this glorious hope in me! I want to run and finish my course, not running individually but corporately with the members of the Body. May the Lord gain us that we can be the mature bride, adorned for our husband, Jesus Christ. I started my regular meetings with the saints in 2003 and got to know a little bit more about the truth. With lots of prayer I believe, praise the Lord, I was baptized in June 2003.

I really enjoy the times whenever I meet the Saints. I've just come back from the Lord's Table meeting. The hymn we sang today also touched me. "Meeting the saints is my greatest joy on earth" I'm so privileged to be in the church life and just simply can't imagine my life without the saints. I think no matter where I'll be next year, as long as I'm meeting with the saints, I'll have my greatest joy on earth!! (Jenny)
